A WHOLE HOUSE RENOVATION HANDLED FROM START TO FINISH
This project involved a complete transformation of the house from top to bottom. Downstairs, we removed the wall separating the kitchen and dining room to create one large open-plan kitchen and dining space. We also removed the rear wall of the house to install wide French doors with glazed side panels, opening the new space up to the garden and flooding it with natural light. The original rounded archway between the front room and dining area was squared off and modernised, creating a cleaner transition from the front room through to the new open-plan kitchen.
Upstairs, walls were reconfigured to enlarge the box room and create a larger en-suite to the master bedroom, including a cleverly concealed bathroom entrance within the fitted wardrobes. We also transformed two bathrooms and a WC, upgraded the heating system and fitted new radiators.
New windows were installed, along with a new front door, while the exterior timber cladding to the front and rear was prepared and repainted. Inside, the textured ceilings were removed throughout, with walls and ceilings plastered to create a smooth, modern finish. New internal doors, skirting and flooring were fitted before the property was fully decorated and the final finishing details completed throughout.
